The summer season is upon us with festivals, local shows and Highland Games aplenty. Here's a couple of events to start you off - close to Argyll's Seafood Trail members.
Tarbert Seafood Festival - 1-2 July 2017
It's a fantastic weekend of local seafood, parades, music and family fun held in the picturesque natural harbour of Tarbert on Loch Fyne. Local fishermen and food producers show off their delicious seafood plus there are cooking demonstrations and food to try&buy. Sunday is a relaxed family fun day with live music and entertainment for the kids.

Luss Highland Games - 1 July 2017
A full-on day of track and field events – races, a hill race, a kilted dash, Highland dancing, heavy events, pipe band, tug-o-war to name but a few. For local farmers, sportsmen & women, local families and day visitors, the games, first held in 1875, have become a very popular date in the Loch Lomond area's diary. The event has also become the focus of the annual gathering of the Clan Colquhoun.
